Hi you guys. I just got skipe installed, and I want to know how to use it to talk to people and all that stuff. I don't want to try using it and not know what to do and totally scrue it up. If anyone has skipe, please tell me how to use it.
Here are some quick and dirty instructions that should give you some pointers. Note: I described these steps using jaws, as it's the screen reader I know best.br To add people, go to the contacts menu and click add. It'll bring up a search box. Type in the skype name of the person you want to add. Then press enter. It'll bring up a list of people that match what you typed. You may need to use your jaws curser to move to the contact to be added. Once you find it, if you used the jaws curser, route jaws to pc, and right click. It'll bring up a menu. Click request contact details. It'll bring up a box that you can type in a message to your contact. This will add them to your list, and ask the person on the other end if they want to authorize you to see their details. Once someone is on your list, you can press enter on their name to call them. to hang up press alt c for the call menu, and find hang up. That's a bit of a crash course, but hope it helps.

I'm still figuring out how to use Skype too! I use the chat feature! I have mine on Skype me mode! I let people search for me!
